I am Marcy Bachelor; a God fearing woman, newly bereaved mother, homeschool teacher, full time homemaker, professional genealogist, blogger, visionary, photographer and writer.

 

A multifaceted woman in her 40's inspiring  your world with my own. 

 

It's been 23 years that I have been walking hand in hand with God. I was baptized on Memorial weekend of May 1999.

Writing and photography have always been passions of mine since childhood. Genealogy however, I discovered in my early 20's at the time my grandmother died, Feb. 2005 (at the very moment... I held in my hands her father's funeral card revealing his name, William Horacio Vargas). 

​

Today I am wife to Mr. Vince Bachelor and mother to the late Joshua (he recently passed on Feb. 5th 2022 age 23), Angel (18) & Blessing (18), yes twins! Gabriel (13) and stepmom to Bradley (20). Daniel (Mar 2006) I miscarried, and was companion to our family cat, princess Junebug who passed away 6 months before my son Josh (2013-2021). 

 

FAMILY IS EVERYTHING TO ME... as you will soon read. My vision for using this platform has changed slightly since I launched it last Spring in 2021. After the loss of my son Joshua earlier this year, I now plan to use this blog for publishing and expanding his work and honoring his life. This is in addition to my original plans in sharing my journey and the lives of others who have gone before me and some who walk with me today.
